All new modern re-issue of the 1985-6 Tange/Koizumi classic, this time with better overall geometry and much better bars, branded reproduction parts (Tange (Taiwan) frame, DC brakes and hinged seat clamp, Kashimax/Raleigh seat etc). Easy way to tell a 35th frame is the 3 holes on the rear dropouts being very different to both the original and the 25th.

Just updated to include the 1986 Pro Race/Cromo bikes as per Dave's thread on the old site. Not sure how I overlooked those bikes originally.

I've been trying to identify the BMX I had in the early 80's. I've described it as being the same as the Night Burner except with plastic pedals and black frame. From another site I've seen a pic of the MK1 GX Burner, which seems to be almost identical as mine (I can't find any pic of me with mine), however I definitely remember mine having a Suntor 4 bolt stem (as I used this on my Curtis Exp race bike later), nylon pads, straight bars and it had the same chain wheel as the Night Bruner, I distinctly remember the mounting bolts and no chain guard, as I changed the chain wheel when I was racing it. Mine was bought from a club book (which fits as per the 1st post on here), however do you think it may have been an updated club book model. The reason I ask is for some reason this has been driving me nuts for some time, trying to recall the model of my Burner (although I am now certain it was a GX). Your thoughts?

Hey Keith,

"1983/1984 Home Shopping Catalogue Model Burners with Cylindrical Frames, 2-Circle Hole Gusset, V-Bars and Vinyl or Nylon Pads"

I've got a MK1 Jan 84 Ultra Burner. If the 83/84 could have had the Vinyl or Nylon Pads, could they also have the two different seats? Also, could my bike have had the Araya 7X or Aero wheels? Thanks.

Hi.
I have bought a mini mag 16. RMX frame is a sky blue colour with straight bars. Black mag wheels. Blue pads and blue seat. White bash guard on chainset.
I am struggling to find details.
Can you help?
Thanks.
Steve

Have updated the chronology with the 2007-2010 re-issue Burners.

Not sure if I am spot on with the dates on those, if anyone can correct me, feel free...
