Is there any Old School BMX racing in the south near London?

Sorry, does that mean there is a southern old school race series but you have to pre book?

No... old school racing was huge 4 or 5 years ago.

But as riders got back into riding many progressed to NS classes, and the OS racing died and the class was scrapped.

I think even Hersden have ditched it as well.

The northern monkeys are keeping the faith though... 8-)

That's a shame. I'll have to try my cali on the track at Bexhill when I'm next down there, or take it across to Brixton or Greenwich.

Do NS bikes ride a lot better? I've never ridden a NS bike and wonder if I am missing out on something?

Yes they do... Vastly better, the progression is clear one you ride one.

For nostalgia and fun... Stay Old Skool.

To progress as a rider and become competitive get a NS... (not that you can't progress as a rider on an OS ride).

Yep, old school racing at Hersden is no longer

Most progressed as Dave said to NS or Cruiser's
