Hello all - and a bit of help (Raleigh Renegade)
I know there's probably a ton of newbie threads, but thought It'd be courteous to introduce myself before chucking myself in amongst your topics!

I'm new as you've already guessed, and I've been pointed in the direction of this forum for a bit of help. I've recently picked up a Raleigh Renegade, and have set about a full resto. It was in a pretty bad way, but it's stripped back and everything's true, and no deep rust. The only things missing are the pads from spec.

I was just after a bit of info on this particular model, as they don't seem to pop up that often. Another guy is doing one up over at burner.com but I just want a bit of background, model year, full spec etc so I can make a real good job of it. If anyone owns one or has pics, please upload!

Anyway, I can see me spending alot of time here admiring all your rides! So I hope to get acquainted with you all at some point!

Thanks guys. I'll be sure to have a look at that thread, seems a couple of people have a Renegade which is great for me! It's my first build/ resto.

I kind of missed them first time round in the 80's, namely because I was born in 1988! But I love the aesthetic of a Old School Raleigh, and I like the affiliation with my hometown, Nottingham. I'll be sure to regularly contribute and keep you up to date with my progress. I'll no doubt be pestering you all for tips and advice!
